Concept/Purpose of the Work:
Each year, the Minnesota Lottery creates an environmentally centric scratch game. "Wild Wins" (a double entendre alluding to how lottery proceeds help benefit Minnesota nature) features native animals from land to sea to air. And we partnered with a local artist to help design limited-edition prints that were used as the game's second-chance prizes.
Results of the Work:
To date the Minnesota Lottery has generated 3 billion dollars for the state and counting.
How the Work Was Delivered to the Masses:
The artwork was used on the lottery scratch games. Players could also enter their non-winning tickets in a second-chance drawing for a limited-edition print signed by the artist.
