Concept/Purpose of the Work:
This is a Two-Persons exhibition presented by Fiona Burke and Song-Yun Kim in Seoul, South Korea. It is curated by visual artist Darren Tesar, hosted at n/a gallery, organized by Song-Yun Kim. This poster also can be served as a flyer to be folded and spread as part of exhibition promotional materials as well as exhibition catalog that the public can use image index in the back of the poster to trace and lookup exhibited artists' works. The audience can read curator's statement as well as index images of participated artists at once to learn about this exhibition and curatorial concept.
Results of the Work:
The poster is not only existing in short period of time for the purpose of display but also can be collectable as archive to see artworks from two artists during exhibition on the print. It also gives audience chance to memorize and connect with artists afterwards if they are interested in buying their works. It also save print budget for the host gallery to promote this exhibition in general.
How the Work Was Delivered to the Masses:
It can be displayed indoor and outdoor during large scale. It can be folded as flyer and catalogue to bring home with visitors. It can be also be archival materials to look back the artwork at once. Not only for the practical parts of designing but also trying to be responsive towards the visual language of contemporary art scene by playing with layouts and graphic components in subtle way.
