Concept/Purpose of the Work:
The Optimists approached Superhuman as "Smart & Savvy Travel".
They specialize in travel management both at home and on the road primarily for the entrainment industry: bands, musical artists, events, and film productions.
Their brand lacked and cohesive brand perspective that also told their story.
The new name, The Optimists, speaks to the spirit of adventure lives in all of us.
Day or night, home or away, The Optimists are here to make every trip a possibility through creating a seamless experience that puts people at the center.
The logo icon is referred to as the "Optimistic Token".
It's an “O”, an open road, a sunrise, and a peace sign that ave been combined to create a token that represents the spirit of adventure. The wordmark is an expanded version of the token.
Illustrative graphic elements (vehicles, gear, places and feelings) are inspired by things experienced while on tour.
Executional materials are also intended to be functional and used while being "on the go".
For example, the business cards have been designed as coasters.
Results of the Work:
The work was created through a collaborative partnership between The Optimists and Superhuman that both parties are proud of. The new brand has been successfully implemented and is a successful vehicle to help The Optimists attract new clients and tell their story.
How the Work Was Delivered to the Masses:
Superhuman designed a variety of graphics that found their way to a variety of branded promotional materials like shirts, tote bags, business cards, and social content. Superhuman also assisted in designing and launching a new website for the Optimists.
