Concept/Purpose of the Work:
Target saw a business opportunity to elevate the electronics experience in stores – bringing together the power of iconic brands to meet families where they are, helping them with solutions that are easy, inspiring and more affordable than anywhere else. Partnering with Target Creative and store design teams, we helped create a more human-centered experience in electronics, showing guests how easy it is to integrate technology into everyday life and providing confidence they’re making the right purchase.
Results of the Work:
The first prototype experience was successfully rolled out in mid-2021, with plans for further expansion in 2022 as Target continues to grow market share within the electronics category.
How the Work Was Delivered to the Masses:
We started by opening up the floorplan and bringing premium brands to the forefront. The newly transformed back wall space anchors the whole department and draws people in from across the store.
For the growing Smart Home category, we helped create a dimensional store experience to highlight how these products fit into people’s lives. We art-directed computer-generated imagery (CGI) that shows the product in specific use-case scenarios, inspiring guests and demonstrating how easy it is to make their homes smarter and more connected.
