Sappi Spectro Book
Submitter:
Ed Bennett
Company:
10 Thousand Design
Concept/Purpose of the Work:
Sappi North America commissioned 10 Thousand Design to increased awareness and consideration for its new paperboard brand Spectro. The pop-up book format conveys how Sappi is doing the most with trees to design a better future for all while delighting readers with an interactive experience that details the paper's ability to accommodate a wide variety of printing techniques, folding and die-cutting. Each spread serves a specific purpose selling the emotional value of paper, whether sharing Sappi’s commitment to the forests or demonstrating ways to convert plastic packaging users to paper packaging users.
Results of the Work:
The book is just starting to appear in market. And though we do not yet have numbers to back-up the performance of the piece, the sales reps are excited about the uniqueness of the piece and how it highlights all the capabilities and features of the paper in one piece.
How the Work Was Delivered to the Masses:
The piece is presented to paper buyers in a one-on-one setting as well as mailed to prospective buyers.
