Concept/Purpose of the Work:
After a year and then some of not seeing clients and communicating through digital tools we decided to print something just for fun. The purpose of the Lemon Book was to showcase some of the projects we created for local businesses, larger clients, and non profit.
In between the work we drop some lemon wisdom about. The pages are perfed so they can become posters and the back page translated all the lemon wisdom into clings to use on windows or other surfaces. And of course our casual team was in the book too so we could share our smiling faces.
And then just for fun we added a lemon scented aqueous to a perfed out ""air freshener"" on one page, flocked some of our lemons to add a fuzzy fun effect on another page, and then threw in some drink recipes for those who needed a cocktail.
Our goal was to just get something into people's hands again. Touch some paper, see the textures, and squeeze the day.
Results of the Work:
The result was simply happy people who got a really neat treat in the mail. We've heard from multiple people "I keep looking through it and discovering something new!" We've seen pics of favorite pages going up as posters. And the favorite page has to be the flocked lemon page. People like fuzzy stuff.
How the Work Was Delivered to the Masses:
This was first presented to the team who hadn't been on site for a year. It was a great showcase of some of our memorable projects. And after everyone had their own, we teased it on our social platforms and to clients - sign up for the Lemon Book, if you're cool giving us your home addy. Anyone can get one if they are a friend of the studio, or just enjoy print. We have more, for now, at Think-CC.com/lemons.
