Concept/Purpose of the Work:
An interior designer needed a brochure-style website to attract and educate clients about her business. The main challenge was to create a site with only a limited number of photos of the designer's work, and a very small budget.
Results of the Work:
I created a site design that helps highlight the few photos of the designer's work that were available, while complementing them in a fun, yet subtle style. The content, combined with appropriate images, helps educate viewers about the designer's process, capabilities, and core values. A series of style boards were created to inspire clients, and help them identify their personal design style preferences. We succeeded in keeping the budget low by using a blend of custom and stock illustrations and icons for the site, and allowing the client to enter most of the content during development.
How the Work Was Delivered to the Masses:
The website was promoted via social media, e-newsletters, and high-end magazines.
