Concept/Purpose of the Work:
Let's face it. 2020 sucked. And while end-of-year client gifts typically toast the shared successes of the past year, we just weren't in the mood. No box of chocolates. No gourmet coffee baskets. This year, we felt it was more authentic to bond over the shared misery we all endured so we created custom brand apparel — #Because 2020 socks. From Zoom meetings to face mask wars, perpetual Mondays to murder hornets, and from social distancing to the Tiger King, no travel and no toilet paper made 2020 a bit of a dumpster fire we won't soon forget. Our goal was to bring our friends, colleagues and clients a bit of levity through a clever wearable that would keep our brand top-of-mind heading into the new year.
Results of the Work:
Lots of laughs, smiles, and social likes for warming our friends' hearts and toes.
How the Work Was Delivered to the Masses:
We packed #Because2020 Socks in a simple craft paper box with other cold weather goodies like an enamel coffee mug, branded hot chocolate and a greeting card delivered through direct mail.
