Concept/Purpose of the Work:
Albion Ridges is a 27 hole public golf club in the west metro of the Twin Cities. Head PGA golf pro Pro Steve Fessler and golf course ownership believed that updating their brand would help refresh people's perception of the course. A new brand would reinforce the club's sense of place, build awareness of its unique offerings, and differentiate Albion Ridges from the other golf courses in the area.
Results of the Work:
While the new identity is currently being implemented, the results include inspired ownership, excited regulars, and a record number of golfers visiting the course for the first time.
How the Work Was Delivered to the Masses:
The new Albion Ridges GC identity is now on logoed apparel worn by staff and for sale to visitors in the pro-shop. Production of ball markers, scorecards, golf flags, the website, and signage is currently in progress. And the iconic silo, familiar to regular visitors, that sits alongside the first hole is getting a fresh new paint job, branded graphics, and a large flag installed on top with the new, bold logo.
