Dorm Reef

Concept/Purpose of the Work:
We were assigned to combine two spaces together. I wanted a man-structural area to combine with a natural area, and was really intrigued by the forms of an underwater reef. I combined them with colored pencil in blue and red to contrast the two and tried to connect the lines in the middle. I had a lot of fun with the detailing of the work. I also wanted each area to be devoid of life and to focus on the natural forms can the man made forms.

Results of the Work:

Not entirely sure what you’re looking for. My teacher really liked the piece and I’m proud of it too. I got to work with fine detailing which I really enjoy and I achieved what I was going for.

How the Work Was Delivered to the Masses:
It’s just an illustration, I only showed my other classmates through a zoom call presentation.
